About the Role

JOB DUTIES:
45% - Essential - Oversee the NCAA rules education program for coaches, staff, student-athletes and external constituencies including coordinating monthly coaches rules education sessions. Conduct and coordinate new staff orientation meetings. Overseeing the student-athlete rules education program. Development of rules education resources. Coordinating rules education for booster and other external constituents. Coordinating rules education for appropriate institutional staff.

35% - Essential - Coordinate and oversee the Compliance department's Name, Image, and Likeness education and monitoring efforts with staff, student-athletes, prospective student-athletes and other members of the University Community. Serves as the primary point of contact for student-athletes regarding the University's NIL Policy. Monitor and coordinate responses to student-athlete NIL disclosures. Coordinate internal and external resources for education purposes. Ensure adherence to University, state, federal and NCAA policies and assist in the ongoing enhancement of policies and practices related to NIL. Liaise with other units within the department regarding NIL matters.

20% - Essential - Serves as Sport Contact for assigned sports. Responsible for interpretive inquires of NCAA and ACC legislation, submitting various waiver requests, investigating rule violations, approving official and unofficial visits and completing initial eligibility evaluations for incoming freshman.

The Assistant AD for Compliance, NCAA Rules and NIL Education must be extremely knowledgeable regarding NCAA rules and provide a dynamic, innovative approach to rules education efforts. The Assistant AD will also be responsible for organizing and advancing the athletic department's monitoring, education and adherence to department policies regarding NIL. Other duties as assigned.
