Job Description
The mission of the compliance office is to provide guidance to the entire Boston College community with regard to the rules, regulations and standards which mandate integrity and fair play. Above all else, the office exists to promote and protect the health and well-being of the student-athletes, the athletic department, and the University.
The Assistant Director for Compliance provides support in establishing a commitment to compliance with all University, Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations governing intercollegiate athletics. This position is responsible for managing an extensive rules education program for student-athletes, coaches, staff and other individuals associated with the athletic department. In addition, this position has day-to-day responsibilities in the areas of recruiting and initial eligibility and camps, clinics and local sports clubs.
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s or law degree preferred.
1-2 years full-time NCAA compliance experience at the Division I level required, FBS experience preferred.
