Work Conditions & Physical Requirements
Perform duties in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 75% of the time.
Occasionally moves boxes weighing up to up to 30 lbs.
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer, printer, and phone.
The person in this position frequently communicates with team members, USMA staff and vendors.
Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Travel: 15% of time spent on regional travel as required by compliance responsibilities (e.g., complimentary ticket oversight, Regional Rules/NAAC attendance, etc.) and sport oversight responsibilities (e.g., post-season, some regular season travel, etc.).

About the Company

The Associate Athletics Director for Compliance provides oversight, leadership, and supervision of the compliance services staff. This position is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, systems, and strategies. This position also advocates for United States Military Academy (“USMA) and Army West Point Athletic Association Inc. (“AWPAA”) within the changing landscape of Division I and the National Collegiate Athletics Association (“NCAA”) governance process. This position is a member of the Athletics Director’s Executive Staff and will serve as a sport administrator.
