Position Summary:

While our Basketball Operations department runs the league's on-court activities, other departments handle relationships with media partners, coordinate the licensing of NBA merchandise, develop strategies to improve our engagement with NBA fans, build marketing partnerships with some of the world's most recognizable companies, and handle a wide range of responsibilities that drive the NBA's success.

This position will provide legal and business support to the NBA's Global Partnerships and Social Responsibility & Player Programs groups. The position will report to the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, Global Partnerships and Team Marketing and Business Operations.

Major Responsibility:

Negotiate and draft agreements with marketing partners, community partners, consultants, and vendors
Provide advice and guidance in connection with the NBA's social responsibility programing
Support the NBA Youth Basketball Development group, with a focus on safety, compliance, and training
Negotiate and draft commercial agreements with current and retired players for league activities and initiatives
Support the NBA Social Justice Coalition and NBA Foundation, with a focus on partner agreements, grantee letters, and social justice initiatives
Oversee internal process for reviewing third-party uses of NBA intellectual property in advertising, marketing, and other materials
