About the Role
Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for a variety of matters, including providing legal support and advice to the IT department, to Global Content and Media Distribution (GCMD), and across all functions on technology and data; and providing legal support and advice to the Events group.
Major Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate vendor agreements, software and other license agreements, and other agreements to support operations of the IT department
Draft and negotiate technology, media operations and data agreements to support GCMD (including content production), Basketball Operations (including performance data), and across all business functions, as needed
Provide legal support and advice to Events, including drafting and negotiating agency, vendor, venue and talent agreements
Provide legal support and advice relating to USA Basketball, including commercial agreements and other matters
Perform special projects and other assignments, as requested by Vice President, Assistant General Counsel - Media and Events, and Legal Department senior staff
