About the Role
Review a variety of master services agreements, statements of work, vendor contracts, venue agreements, production related agreements, content creation related agreements, non-disclosure agreements and legal correspondence
Provide plain-English legal advice and support on a wide range of topics including marketing, creative content production, promotions, procurement, relevant regulatory matters and intellectual property matters
As needed, conduct research and analysis of specific legal questions in a variety of legal areas
Prepare and periodically update form agreements
Pro-actively advise the business on developments pertaining to relevant legal matters
Develop strong cross-functional working relationships to ensure the legal team is aware of key legal issues affecting the business units
Other duties as assigned
About the Company
Wasserman, a multi-national, full-service sports marketing and media agency, seeks a transactional attorney with 3+ years of corporate law firm or in-house experience to support its Brands & Properties division in North America.
Primary duties will be to support the legal department’s contracting functions by reviewing, marking up and negotiating a wide range of client services and vendor agreements. In addition, the attorney will assist Wasserman’s attorneys in London on similar contracting matters.
