About the Role

Core Responsibilities
Creates, maintains and manages contract filing and tracking systems for all areas of company business; creates and updates spreadsheets and other contract status and terms charts.
Provides continuous counsel and guidance on legal matters and on legal implications of business matters.
Acts as initial point of contact for internal teams concerning legal aspects and interpretation of contracts.
Communicates new and/or modified contract terms to all affected internal teams (e.g., operations, sales, account management, finance, internal audit, etc.) for their incorporation into and/or adaptation of their departmental processes.
Negotiates and drafts new agreements and/or amendments to existing contracts, interacting with in-house and outside counsel, as appropriate.
Manages projects as assigned.
Creates, updates, preserves and files important corporate records.
Assists with legal department initiatives.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in confidential matters.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
