JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox Corporation is seeking a talented business-minded distribution attorney to fill the position of Director, Business & Legal Affairs in its Los Angeles, CA corporate headquarters. The Director, Business & Legal Affairs will report to the Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Negotiate and draft complex affiliation agreements with cable, satellite, and over-the-top distributors for distribution of Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Big Ten Network, Fox Deportes, and Fox Soccer Plus, in addition to various streaming and on-demand offerings
Provide advice and guidance to executives in Distribution on the legal interpretation of the company’s agreements with distributors
Work closely with the Fox Television Stations group regarding retransmission consent agreements with traditional distributors and the licensing of the Fox Broadcasting Company’s content via new media (e.g., TVE, OTT) platforms, both linear and on-demand
Provide legal advice to the Distribution Marketing team regarding advertising and promotional campaigns
