Responsibilities

Provide general legal support to the marketing, content creation, experience, sponsorship, sales, and fan development departments, including intellectual property rights clearance, rights of publicity, trademark, copyright, user-generated content, sweepstakes, and promotions
Negotiate, draft, and interpret business contracts across a broad range of advertising, marketing, and sales initiatives, including social media, digital marketing and advertising, influencer marketing, contests and promotions, and marketing, consulting, and creative services agreements
Negotiate, draft, and advise regarding sponsorship agreements
Oversee and maintain the Company’s intellectual property portfolio, including coordination with outside counsel
Assist with designing, implementing, and managing Company’s IP and marketing compliance program
Monitor and review U.S. laws, rules, and regulations, including direct-to-consumer marketing, false and deceptive practices, and automatic renewal
Assist with drafting policies and procedures and the development of training surrounding marketing and advertising
Provide internal training regarding marketing and advertising and develop tools and resources for use by Company’s internal business units
Work collaboratively with and support colleagues across the Legal team on a variety of cross-functional commercial contracts, projects, and departmental initiatives
Ensure consistent application of legal processes and strategies across all Company affiliates
Perform other duties as directed by the VP
