About the Role
What you’ll do:
Proactively offer insights across the organization in regards to any business legal issues
Look after all corporate legal matters including strategy, structure, governance, IP, and more
Oversee all contracts and provide valuable insights
Advise on any HR/employment related issues
Be a strong source of legal knowledge throughout the organization
Collaborate with third party legal firms where needed
Who you are:
4+ years of legal experience with increasing responsibility, ideally with a mix of firm and in-house experience
An experienced attorney with a background in contracts, IP (media and corporate), corporate legal strategy, corporate structure, HR, risk management and assessment, privacy policy, and other business related needs
Comfortable working cross functionally with business teams (marketing, finance, HR) to provide legal recommendations
An excellent communicator with an ability to build clarity out of ambiguous situations
Are resourceful with a hands-on approach to problem solving
Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A BA/BS from an accredited university
A JD from an accredited university
