About the Role

The Government and Community Relations Department manages the Dodgers’ government, civic, community, and philanthropic efforts with an emphasis on the organization’s relationships with local leaders, government & non-profit organizations, community & neighborhood groups, and player & player families. The department ensures a proactive positive presence in the community through strategic legislative priorities and key community programs. We strive to produce impactful community events and programs beyond the stadium with Dodgers players, alumni, and their families to serve people of diverse backgrounds with an emphasis on health, education, military in communities throughout Los Angeles County.

The Government Affairs Fellow will perform a wide range of support activities for the Government & Community Relations Department which include assisting with government and neighborhood related initiatives, tracking and monitoring incoming correspondence relating to government affairs, and assisting with the execution of community related events as needed.
