Fanatics is seeking a talented, team-oriented Commercial Counsel with 4+ years of applicable legal experience in the NY/NJ area. The Commercial Counsel will report to the Chief Commercial Officer and will provide support across the Fanatics Betting & Gaming vertical.

General Duties:

Draft, review and negotiate a broad variety of commercial agreements in support of the Company’s Betting & Gaming vertical, ranging from routine to highly complex transactions, including marketing, SaaS, affiliate, advertising, market access, non-disclosure, consulting services, promotional services, and other material agreements
Provide well-reasoned advice to the business on compliance with state, federal and international marketing and intellectual property laws
Advise on and minimize company risks through contract negotiations
Manage contest rules and promotion terms and conditions and ensure compliance with relevant sweepstakes laws
Build relationships with personnel within the Gaming & Betting vertical and across the wider Fanatics company and stay up to date on key product developments and Company goals
Collaborate with other members of the Global Legal Team, including with respect to issues requiring subject matter expertise, and oversee/leverage outside counsel, as needed
Support the build out of the Betting & Gaming legal team and the overall growth of this new vertical
