About the Role
The Legal Coordinator provides administrative support to the entire Legal team. This support includes but is not limited to production and analysis of various legal documents for staff attorneys and other support staff. This position serves as a back-up to the Legal Administrative Manager and provides for and oversees various business departments’ legal needs. The Legal Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of all requests flowing to and from the Legal department.
Ensures proper indexing and filing of legal documents.
Maintains and organizes commercial templates.
Provide supports for a variety of clients within the business including but not limited to Consumer Products, Sponsorship, Brand.
Routes communications from internal clients to the appropriate Legal team member.
Prepares first-draft agreements for attorney review.
Conducts research and prepares presentation for attorney review.
Maintains and summarizes legal spreadsheets and other miscellaneous documents and databases.
Frequently communications with outside counsel and external legal parties as necessary.
Assist in Company’s intellectual property, documentation and recordation practice.10. Assists legal department in business and legal affairs for all day-to-day activities.
Prepares copyright applications.
Assists in matters of due diligence and document review and preparation for major transactions, as necessary.
Assists with other general business and legal affairs projects as requested.
Prepares correspondence and performs clerical duties, including scanning, copying and distributing department mailings.
Other tasks, duties, and projects as assigned.
