About the Role
Associate Program Summary:
The Legal Department Associate will have the opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and vision of Orlando City Soccer Club and will gain insight on how a professional sports organization operates through practical legal experience. The Legal Department Associate will help the Legal Department with managing the day-to-day legal and business affairs of Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride, Orlando City B, and its affiliated entities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
● Assist in the preparation of internal and external correspondence.
● Assist the Legal Department with the day-to-day activities and workflow of contracts.
● Review, edit, summarize, and draft a variety of agreements under appropriate supervision of counsel.
● Collaborate with business units to anticipate, identify, and manage legal exposure.
● Conduct legal research and provide analysis on industry related issues and developments.
● Participate in legal and other department meetings as requested.
● Provide general support in all other duties as assigned.
