About the Role
Manages all aspects of licensing partnerships.
Strategizes with licensees to drive program growth and increased distribution.
Develops and updates strategic plans, both short and long term, to meet and/or exceed budget, plans to include budgets, forecasts, etc.
Develops and executes retail marketing and activation programs to drive sell in and sell through of licensed products.
In partnership with licensees, develops strategies for licensee activations and integration through UFC and broader company divisions.
Develops and executes go-to-market strategies.
In conjunction with IMG Licensing, researches markets and categories and identifies white space business opportunities. Conducts due diligence and/or analysis of markets, categories, proposals, business plans and financial impact.
Collaborates with internal and broader company divisions to create and execute product collaborations, unique retail experiences and unexpected partnerships; Generates new and innovative ideas for product licensing extensions.
Negotiates and executes licensed deals with current and new licensees; manages and executes renewals and non-renewals.
Partners with internal stakeholders to support strategic growth initiatives, identify and resolve business issues, and maximize existing business while seeking new opportunities.
Develops incremental revenue opportunities for existing licensees.
Liaises and collaborates with licensees and internal brand marketing department.
Translates and leverages consumer insights, licensing category and market trends into meaningful and executable business strategies
Manages cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners to ensure strategies are communicated and implemented effectively; maximizes reach of consumer products initiatives.
Works in a creative capacity with licensees on innovative product development, marketing strategy and associated assets; continuously challenges licensees to be on the forefront of product innovation and design.
Conducts ongoing analysis of existing licensees including proposals, requests for renewals, amendments, annual business and marketing plans.
