About the Role

BACKGROUND
The National Hockey League’s Legal Department is seeking a Manager, Promotions to be involved in all phases of the legal review and implementation of promotions run by the NHL and its commercial partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager, Promotions will work with the Director, Promotions and NHL attorneys on the following:
Reviewing advertising and promotional materials (e.g., contests, sweepstakes, giveaways, websites, social media, digital, television, radio, POS, etc.) generated by the NHL and its commercial partners
Drafting and reviewing rules, disclaimers, and releases for the NHL’s contests, sweepstakes and giveaways
Processing state registrations, bonding and winners lists, as needed
Working with Marketing, Social Impact and other NHL departments on the conception and development of NHL institutional contests, sweepstakes and related promotional materials
Coordinating with NHL business partner account teams to review and communicate feedback to commercial partners on sponsored promotions
Performing other duties as assigned
