Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert to advise NFL business units and member clubs on global legal considerations, risk identification, and risk mitigation strategies in connection with data privacy requirements
Support the development and implementation of business-oriented policies and procedures to ensure all relevant business initiatives are properly structured and reviewed to drive compliance with all applicable privacy and data security obligations
Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal, state, and relevant international privacy laws and accreditation standards, and monitor advancements in information privacy technologies to ensure organizational adaptation and compliance
Assist business units with the development of strategic plans for the collection, use and sharing of information in a manner that maximizes its value while complying with applicable privacy regulations, and support the development of tools and methodologies to ensure on-going compliance
Maintain the repository of the organization's privacy related policies - including ensuring those policies are up to date and in-line with the current regulatory/compliance requirements.
Work with Analytics, Marketing, Digital Media, Legal and business partners to define requirements and capabilities for the implementation of an enterprise-wide Coordinated Consent and Preferences Management (CCPM) system
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop and deliver privacy training as needed
Maintain strong working relationships with both internal clients and external counterparties

About the Company

The NFL Privacy Office is looking to fill a new Privacy Manager role. Reporting to our privacy organization lead within the Legal Department, this role will be responsible for the growth and management of an enhanced data privacy program across the League. This will include working closely with the Data Management, Marketing, Analytics and other business partners and technology teams, as well as representatives of all member Clubs to ensure a consistent approach to data privacy throughout our business.
