About the Role

You will sit at the strategic intersection of regulatory affairs, legal, and licensure, and have a significant impact on PrizePicks’ efforts to enter new markets and maintain the company’s good standing in existing markets. Reporting to the VP, Legal & Government Affairs, the Regulatory Affairs Director will lead efforts to obtain and maintain the appropriate licenses for internal and external entities and individuals as required by state laws and regulations.

Responsibilities Include:
Working with relevant licensing staff of regulatory bodies to coordinate PrizePicks filings
Leading PrizePicks DFS licensing efforts through preparation and understanding of licensing efforts in future spaces (e.g. OSB, igaming, online poker)
Regularly communicate with state regulators and maintain working relationships within the broader DFS/OSB space to accomplish licensing requirements and stay on top of all legal updates
Document all processes and procedures by establishing organized filing and tracking systems
Prepare reports for overview by internal leadership and regulators regarding licensing processes and updates
Research and stay up to date with all licensing requirements for every operational state
Provide administrative support and field questions for internal business partners on licensing processes.
