We are a growing legal department at BetMGM in need of a reliable, organized, and proactive Senior Paralegal. As a key member of the staff, the Senior Paralegal will work directly with our attorneys, compliance team, and outside counsel to manage and respond to a variety of legal, regulatory, and licensing matters. The ideal candidate for this position is organized, professional, responsible, and committed to helping us meet all our company’s litigation-related needs.
Provide day-to-day litigation support
Lead the litigation hold process, including drafting and managing litigation holds
Support in-house attorneys with discovery processes, including document collection and e-discovery; organize and draft responses to critical requests for information
Calendar litigation deadlines for in-house legal team, including determining relevant filing deadlines when needed
Provide litigation research support
Inventory, archive, and maintain company agreements
Administer legal files; this includes setting up and clearly and effectively organizing files maintained by the Legal Department on applicable network drives
Coordinate with Finance or Human Resources when necessary
Manage, organize, and draft responses to subpoenas – including collaborating cross-functionally to locate and obtain relevant documents – and associated deadlines
Work with members of the legal team on special projects and initiatives
Take and organize minutes from meetings
Support legal team in preparation for board meetings
Manage data access requests
Perform other functions as needed within the Legal Department
Other responsibilities as determined and based on team needs
