Responsibilities

Review, draft and negotiate a high volume of stand-alone (i.e., not part of a broader League-wide commercial relationship) commercial contracts (e.g., vendor agreements, NDAs, event agreements (including internal NFL department events), suite licenses, facilities agreements, hotel agreements, procurement contracts) to support various NFL business units.
Provide legal transactional support to various internal NFL departments across the NFL’s DE&I and philanthropic initiatives.
Advise NFL business units on legal considerations and risk mitigation strategies in connection with review of agreements.
Attend daily Zoom and/or phone calls with internal business clients and maintain strong working relationships with both internal clients and external counterparties.
Strong time-management skills and ability to ensure timely response to numerous simultaneous contract requests.

About the Company

Overview /Objective

Seeking an experienced transactional attorney to review and process high-volume contracts for variety of internal NFL departments, including Events, Football Ops, Facilities, International, Marketing and Philanthropy/Social Responsibility. The position will support multiple senior attorneys in the legal transactional group. Must be able to work independently and manage multiple simultaneous projects under tight deadlines. This position will be based in the New York office but will be provided flexibility to work on a mostly remote basis. The position will work closely with one or more transactional paralegals but will not have any direct managerial responsibilities.
