Who are we hiring?
The Vice President will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal support, under the Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Sales & Marketing, in support the following business teams within the Madison Square Garden Company: Marketing Partnerships, Ticketing, Suites and Corporate Hospitality, and Marketing.

What will you do?
Structure, draft and negotiate a variety of contracts and other documents, including sponsorship agreements, suite licenses, ticketing agreements, OOH agreements, production, agency/consultant agreements, event agreements and vendor agreements.
Assist with the development, structure and negotiation of contracts related to MSG’s newest property, Sphere.
Provide general legal advice and strategic thinking to the Company’s various sales and marketing groups, across all of MSG.
Advise on contractual obligations and category exclusivities; advise on legal issues with respect to sponsorship sales, marketing, hospitality, and service.
Advise on advertising and marketing initiatives, including sweepstakes, contests, privacy and intellectual property matters, releases, and review of promotional and creative materials.
Advise clients on issues relating to compliance by company and business partners with law and prior contractual arrangements, troubleshoot to solve problems (including interaction with third parties and their counsel) and analyze financial exposures and legal risks as necessary.
Advise clients on issues relating to compliance with NBA, NHL league rules and mandates, and third-party requirements (where applicable), and troubleshoot to solve problems (including interaction with third parties, the leagues and their counsel) when necessary.
Stay up to date on NBA and NHL league business rules and initiatives.
Participate on special projects, as needed.
