Players in a professional football league that folded because of financial issues 2½ years ago may receive unpaid wages under a deal that got preliminary approval Friday from a San Antonio bankruptcy judge.
More than 400 Alliance of American Football players could each receive a priority wage claim of $13,650, covering pay for the final two games of the league’s inaugural 2019 season. The league suspended operations before completion of the season.
