The trustee administering Evander Kane’s bankruptcy estate is seeking court permission to sell the NHL star’s California home for approximately $3.3 million.
The sale would net about $700,000 for the benefit of Kane’s creditors and $2.3 million for private lender Pacific Private Money Inc., which holds the mortgage, according to a motion filed Monday. If there’s a qualified bidder offering to pay more for the house, the trustee will conduct an auction Sept. 7, according to the filing.
