As retail sportsbooks become more commonplace at sports venues, DraftKings is expanding its brick-and-mortar reach beyond stadiums and arenas.

On Friday, the company opened a physical sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale, making it the first to open at a PGA Tour tournament location. Arizona Cardinals legend Larry Fitzgerald was on hand to place the location’s ceremonial first bet.

TPC Scottsdale is home to the WM Phoenix Open — known as one of the most popular and rowdy events on Tour. The new restaurant, bar, and sportsbook will surely only bolster that reputation, but the location will be open year-round.
