Ex-NFLer Mark Barron claims attorney ripped him off in $2M PPE deal, files suit in NY federal court

A former NFL linebacker is alleging a New York attorney fleeced him and his medical supply firm out of $2 million in a deal for personal protective equipment that went sour, then tried to explain his accounting in an incomprehensible Post-It note, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court Friday.

Mark Barron, who retired last year after stints with the Rams, Steelers and Broncos, says Brooklyn real estate lawyer Saadia Shapiro ran a "side hustle" selling PPE.
