In an ongoing crackdown on counterfeit sports memorabilia, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers last week seized 230 fake Super Bowl, World Series and NBA championship rings made in China.
CBP officials detained a shipment in Louisville last Thursday and determined the rings -- worth an estimated $345,000 on the open market -- were in violation of intellectual and property rights and trademark issues.
