Sharks lose 7 regulars and their coach to COVID protocol, then beat Winnipeg

Timo Meier’s power-play goal 1:07 into overtime gave the Sharks a most improbable 2-1 win over Winnipeg at SAP Center on Saturday.

Only hours before a delayed opening faceoff did the Sharks learn of multiple positive coronavirus tests. Still, they managed to put all the distractions behind them to end a three-game losing streak.
