The capacity for the upcoming 2022 World Junior Championship has been capped at 50 percent. This comes as the Alberta government announced on Monday they've set capacity levels for all sporting venues at 50 percent due to surging COVID-19 cases.

The QMJHL also announced on Tuesday they'd be pausing their season until Jan. 7 amid the recent increase in COVID-19 cases.
