Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of IT and privacy-related agreements, including professional services agreements, SaaS agreements, data protection addendums, and cloud agreements, as well as data, content, and software license agreements.
Provide strategic legal advice to business teams regarding data collection and processing and privacy compliance.
Providing strategic and practical advice on business initiatives that have data privacy and data protection implications.
Conduct privacy impact assessments (as needed) and compliance monitoring of current data processes, procedures and frameworks; assess and implement solutions to new and existing data privacy regulatory developments.
Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable data privacy laws and regulations; monitor and track privacy and security laws, rules, regulations and trends.
Provide revisions as needed to data privacy policies, procedures and agreements.
Create and deliver trainings that highlight and deliver awareness and understanding of critical data privacy obligations and compliance.
